The expanding reach of Apple Music

We understand how important it is for artists to know that their music is reaching as many people as possible. With that in mind, the recent announcement that Apple Music has expanded its service into an extra 52 countries is great news for our labels. The move opens up a whole new market of customers in Africa, Latin America and beyond; these countries include:

Africa:Algeria, Angola, Benin, Cameroon, Chad, Cote d'Ivoire, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Gabon, Liberia, Libya, Madagascar, Malawi, Mali, Mauritania, Morocco, Mozambique, Namibia, Republic of Congo, Rwanda, Senegal, Seychelles, Sierra Leone, Tanzania, Tunisia, Zambia.

Middle East:Iraq, Kuwait, Qatar, Yemen.

Latin America:Bahamas, Guyana, Jamaica, Montserrat, St. Lucia, St. Vincent, Suriname, Turks & Caicos, Urugua.

Europe:Bosnia, Croatia, Georgia, Iceland, Kosovo, Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia.

Asia-Pacific:Bhutan, Maldives, Myanmar, Solomon Islands, Tonga, Vanuatu.

This means Apple Music can now be accessed in 167 countries, very impressive!

But it doesn't stop there - Apple has also just announced that the Apple Music service is coming to Samsung Smart TV sets where the Apple Music app will soon be available. This will allow access to the full range of Apple Music content: playlists; videos; radio stations and more.

Just two more huge reasons to make sure that your label is making the most of the Apple Music platform - as ever if you've got any questions about Apple Music, be sure to get in touch :)
